Parent Resources

Wai’, Taanishi, Hello,

The SD67 Indigenous Parent Group is a passionate network of parents and caregivers who are working together to build a supportive community of advocates and allies for Indigenous parents and students in our school district.

Together, we aim to:

  • Advocate for educational equity and ensure Indigenous students receive quality education and resources.
  • Build strong relationships between Indigenous families and the district.
  • Provide support and resources such as tutoring, mentorship, and workshops.
  • Raise awareness by educating the school community about Indigenous cultures and issues.
  • Empower Indigenous voices by encouraging active participation and leadership among parents and students.

We would love to listen, learn, and grow this group with more Indigenous parents and caregivers. If you are interested in joining the conversation and offering your perspective, please contact

Dustin Hyde, District Principal of Indigenous Education at [email protected].
